About Fill PDF form
Filling in a form means typing your name, ID number, address and date of birth. That is precisely the information that should not travel to somebody else’s server to be processed. This reads the form’s fields, lets you type into them here, and can flatten the answers so a reader cannot change them.
How it works

- 2Fill in the fields. Anything already filled in is kept, so you can finish a partly-completed form.

Questions
- It says my PDF has no form fields.
- Then it is not really a form, however much it looks like one. Many documents are flat scans with printed lines and boxes drawn on them, with nothing underneath to type into. Sign PDF can place an image anywhere on a page, which is the usual way to complete one of those.
- What does flattening actually do?
- It turns your answers into ordinary page content instead of live form values. A flattened form cannot be edited or accidentally cleared, and it will not prompt the recipient to save changes. Turn it off only if the document is meant to be passed on and edited further.
- Why did my form show blank in Acrobat?
- That happens with XFA forms, built with Adobe LiveCycle, which keep their real content in an XML payload this tool cannot write. The tool detects them and warns you before you start. Fill those in Acrobat Reader itself, or print the form and use Sign PDF.
- Are the fields shown in the same order as the printed form?
- They are listed in the order the document stores them, using the names the form’s author gave them, which usually match the printed labels. That order does not always follow the visual layout — a badly built form can list its fields in almost any sequence.
- Does my personal information leave my device?
- No. The conversion runs in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly — the file is read into this tab’s memory and written back out there. The site is served as static files from Cloudflare’s edge and has no upload endpoint, no database and no server-side processing. The page ships a Content Security Policy that forbids it from contacting any host other than its own origin, so this is enforced by your browser rather than promised by us.
