About Sign PDF

Questions
- Is this a legally valid signature?
- It places a picture of your signature on the page, which is what most offices, landlords and suppliers accept in practice. It is not a cryptographic digital signature: nothing certifies who signed it or when, and it cannot prove the document was unaltered afterwards. Where a certified signature is required, you need a qualified provider and a certificate.
- Why can I not just type my name in a script font?
- The only fonts guaranteed to be in every PDF reader are the standard fourteen, and none of them looks like handwriting. A typed signature would come out as plain Helvetica, which fools nobody, so the tool does not pretend to offer it. Draw it or upload an image instead.
- Can I reuse the same signature on several documents?
- Draw it once, download the result, and for the next document upload the signature image instead of redrawing. Nothing is stored between visits — there is no account and no server — so keeping a transparent PNG of your signature on your own machine is the way to reuse it.
- What happens on a page that is rotated sideways?
- The signature lands where you put it. Placement is worked out against the page as you see it and then mapped into the document’s own coordinate system, so a sideways scan behaves the same as an upright page.
- Is my signature or my document sent to a server?
- No. The conversion runs in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly — the file is read into this tab’s memory and written back out there. The site is served as static files from Cloudflare’s edge and has no upload endpoint, no database and no server-side processing. The page ships a Content Security Policy that forbids it from contacting any host other than its own origin, so this is enforced by your browser rather than promised by us.
